  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • Red pepper flakes to taste
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Pan-Seared Salmon with Roasted Asparagus:
  • 2 salmon fillets (68 ounces each)
  • 1 pound asparagus, trimmed

  • Strawberry Shortcakes:
  • Biscuits: Use your favorite shortcake recipe or store-bought biscuit dough.
  • Strawberries: 1 pound, sliced and macerated with a little sugar.
  • Whipped Cream: 1 cup heavy cream, whipped with a tablespoon of sugar and a splash of vanilla extract.

Instructions

  1. Creamy Tomato Pasta:
  2. 1. Cook pasta according to package directions.
  3. 2. While pasta cooks, heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add garlic and cook until fragrant.
  4. 3. Stir in crushed tomatoes, heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, salt, and pepper. Bring to a simmer.
  5. 4. Combine cooked pasta and sauce, toss to coat, and serve immediately, garnished with fresh basil.
  6. Lemon Garlic Shrimp Pasta:
  7. 1. Cook pasta according to package directions.
  8. 2. While pasta cooks, heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add garlic and cook until fragrant.
  9. 3. Add shrimp and cook until pink and cooked through.
  10. 4. Stir in lemon juice, parsley, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper.

  12. Pan Seared Salmon with Roasted Asparagus:
  13. 1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  14. 2. Toss asparagus with 1 tablespoon olive oil, salt and pepper. Spread on a baking sheet.
  15. 3. Pat salmon fillets dry and season with 1 tablespoon olive oil, salt and pepper.
  16. 4. Place salmon on the same baking sheet as asparagus, skin-side up. Drape lemon slices on top.
  17. 5. Roast for 12-15 minutes, or until salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
  18. Chicken Piccata:
  19. 1. Place chicken between plastic wrap and pound to 1/4 inch thickness
  20. 2. In a shallow dish, mix flour, salt and pepper
  21. 3. Dredge the chicken thoroughly in mixture.
  22. 4. Set aside.
  23. 5. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the chicken and cook for 3-4 minutes per side, until golden brown and cooked through. Remove chicken from skillet and set aside.
  24. 6. Add the chicken broth and lemon juice to the skillet and bring to a simmer, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the pan.
  25. 7. Stir in the capers and butter. Simmer until the sauce has slightly thickened.
  26. 8. Return the chicken to the skillet, coating it with sauce. Garnish with fresh parsley.
  27. Steak Fajitas:
  28. 1. In a bowl, marinate the flank steak with the fajita seasoning. Let it rest for 20-30 minutes.
  29. 2. In a hot pan add olive oil. Add onion and bell pepper. Saute until tender.

  34. Chocolate Lava Cakes:
  35. 1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Grease and flour two ramekins.
  36. 2. Melt chocolate and butter together in a heatproof bowl set over a simmering pot of water (or in the microwave in 30-second intervals). Stir until smooth.
  37. 3. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
  38. 4. Whisk in sugar, then whisk in eggs and egg yolks until well combined.
  39. 5. Gently fold in flour and salt until just combined; do not overmix.
  40. 6. Pour batter into prepared ramekins.
  41. 7. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until edges are set but center is still soft.
  42. 8. Let cool for a minute, then invert onto plates. Dust with powdered sugar and serve immediately.
  43. Strawberry Shortcakes:
  44. 1. Bake or prepare biscuits according to instructions
  45. 2. Macerate slices strawberries and let rest for 30 minutes
  46. 3. Whip cream with sugar and vanilla extract
