Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp ginger powder
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup sweet chili sauce
  • 1 tbsp sriracha (or more, to taste)
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tsp rice vinegar
  • 2 tbsp sesame seeds, toasted
  • 2 green onions, thinly sliced
  • Wooden skewers, soaked in water for at least 30 minutes

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine chicken cubes with soy sauce, rice vinegar, garlic powder, ginger powder, and black pepper. Marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Whisk together mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, sriracha, honey, and rice vinegar. Set aside.
  3. Thread chicken onto soaked wooden skewers.
  4. Preheat grill to medium heat (or oven to 400°F).
  5. Grill skewers for 8-10 minutes, turning, until cooked through. Or bake for 15-20 minutes.
  6. Brush bang bang sauce over the skewers, coating fully.
  7. Sprinkle toasted sesame seeds and sliced green onions. Serve immediately.
