Fold in the chopped maraschino cherries.nPour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread evenly.nBake for 25 30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with moist crumbs attached.nLet the brownies cool completely in the pan before frosting.nn**For the Chocolate Ganache:**nPlace the chopped chocolate in a heat proof bowl.nIn a saucepan, heat the heavy cream over medium heat until it just comes to a simmer.nPour the hot cream over the chocolate and let it sit for 1 minute.nGently whisk the mixture until smooth and glossy.nPour the ganache over the cooled brownies and spread evenly.nGarnish with additional maraschino cherries.nLet the ganache set before cutting into squares.
