- 2 pounds Yukon Gold potatoes, peeled and quartered
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 1/2 head green cabbage, shredded

- 1/4 cup chopped green onions

Instructions
- Boil the potatoes: Place the peeled and quartered potatoes in a large pot and cover with cold water. Bring to a boil and cook until tender, about 15-20 minutes.
- Prepare the cabbage: While the potatoes are cooking, melt 2 tablespoons of butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the shredded cabbage and cook until softened, about 8-10 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
- Drain and mash the potatoes: Once the potatoes are tender, drain them thoroughly. Return them to the pot and mash with a potato masher or electric mixer until smooth.
- Add cream and butter: Gradually add the warm heavy cream, melted butter, and milk to the mashed potatoes, mixing until smooth and creamy.
- Combine cabbage and potatoes: Gently fold in the cooked cabbage and chopped green onions into the mashed potato mixture until evenly distributed.
- Season to taste: Season with salt and pepper to your liking.
- Serve immediately: Serve hot as a side with your favorite dishes.
