- 1 cup rolled oats
- 2 scoops vanilla protein powder
- ½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ½ cup unsweetened applesauce
- ½ cup milk (dairy or non dairy)
- ¼ cup honey or maple syrup
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- ½ cup dark chocolate chips (sugar free or regular)
- 1 tablespoon coconut oil
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease or line an 8×8 inch baking pan.
- In a large bowl, mix oats, protein powder, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
- Add applesauce, milk, honey, and vanilla extract. Stir well.
- Pour batter into the pan and spread evenly.
- Bake for 20 25 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Melt chocolate chips and coconut oil in the microwave.
- Spread melted chocolate over the brownies.
- Chill in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
- Cut into squares and serve.
