Indulge in guilt free snacking with these Easy Protein Treats! These protein packed brownies are delicious and healthy. They’re perfect as a mid-afternoon pick-me-up or post-workout refuel.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 2 scoops vanilla protein powder
  • ½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ½ cup unsweetened applesauce
  • ½ cup milk (dairy or non dairy)
  • ¼ cup honey or maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ cup dark chocolate chips (sugar free or regular)
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease or line an 8×8 inch baking pan.
  2. In a large bowl, mix oats, protein powder, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Add applesauce, milk, honey, and vanilla extract. Stir well.
  4. Pour batter into the pan and spread evenly.
  5. Bake for 20 25 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  6. Melt chocolate chips and coconut oil in the microwave.
  7. Spread melted chocolate over the brownies.
  8. Chill in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
  9. Cut into squares and serve.
