Ingredients

  • 2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 (1 ounce) packet dry Italian dressing mix
  • 1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of chicken soup
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1 (10 ounce) can refrigerated biscuit dough, cut into quarters
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Place the chicken breasts in the bottom of the crockpot.
  2. Sprinkle the dry Italian dressing mix over the chicken.
  3. Pour the condensed cream of chicken soup and the chicken broth over the chicken.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours, or on high for 3-4 hours.
  5. Shred the chicken with two forks.
  6. Stir the shredded chicken in the sauce.
  7. Drop the biscuit dough quarters over the chicken mixture.
  8. Sprinkle the cheddar cheese over the biscuits.
  9. Cover and cook on high for 30 minutes, or until the biscuits are cooked through and golden brown.
  10. Let cool slightly before serving.
