Description
Indulge in this easy baked lobster tail recipe with a rich butter sauce. Perfect for special occasions or a delightful weeknight treat!
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 Lobster Tails (6–8 ounces each), thawed if frozen
- 1/2 cup Butter, unsalted
- 2 cloves Garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon Lemon Juice, fresh
- 2 tablespoons Fresh Parsley, chopped
- 1/4 teaspoon Paprika
- 1/4 teaspoon Salt, or to taste
- 1/8 teaspoon Black Pepper, or to taste
Instructions
- Using kitchen shears, cut along the top of the lobster tail shell, from the base of the tail to the end. Gently pry open the shell and loosen the lobster meat. Lift the meat slightly, keeping the end of the tail connected to the shell. Remove the dark vein if visible.
- In a small saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and cook for about 1 minute, until fragrant. Do not brown the garlic.
- Stir in the lemon juice, fresh parsley, paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix well to combine.
- Brush the lobster meat generously with the butter sauce. Reserve the remaining sauce for basting.
- Place the lobster tails on a baking sheet. Bake in a preheated oven at 400°F (200°C) for 12-15 minutes, or until the lobster meat is opaque and cooked through. Baste with the remaining butter sauce halfway through cooking.
- Remove the lobster tails from the oven and serve immediately. Drizzle any remaining sauce over the tails.
