Ingredients

  • 1 pound elbow macaroni
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 (1 ounce) package ranch dressing mix
  • 2 tablespoons milk (to thin dressing)
  • 1 cup shredded carrots
  • 1 cup finely chopped celery
  • 1/2 cup finely diced red onion
  • 1 cup halved cherry tomatoes
  • 1 cup cubed cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup crumbled cooked bacon (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh dill (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. 1. Cook the pasta according to package directions until al dente. Drain well and rinse with cold water.
  2. 2. In a large bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, sour cream, and ranch dressing mix. Add milk, one tablespoon at a time, until desired consistency. Season with salt and pepper.
  3. 3. Add the cooked and cooled pasta, carrots, celery, red onion, cherry tomatoes, cheddar cheese, and bacon (if using) to the bowl with the dressing. Toss gently to combine.
  4. 4. Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
  5. 5. Before serving, garnish with fresh dill, if desired. Give it another toss and serve chilled.
