Description
A creamy and flavorful Ranch Pasta Salad perfect for picnics, potlucks, or a quick and easy weeknight meal. Loaded with vegetables, cheese, and optional bacon.

- 1 pound elbow macaroni
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1 (1 ounce) package ranch dressing mix
- 2 tablespoons milk (to thin dressing)
- 1 cup shredded carrots
- 1 cup finely chopped celery
- 1/2 cup finely diced red onion
- 1 cup halved cherry tomatoes
- 1 cup cubed cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup crumbled cooked bacon (optional)
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh dill (optional)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- 1. Cook the pasta according to package directions until al dente. Drain well and rinse with cold water.
- 2. In a large bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, sour cream, and ranch dressing mix. Add milk, one tablespoon at a time, until desired consistency. Season with salt and pepper.
- 3. Add the cooked and cooled pasta, carrots, celery, red onion, cherry tomatoes, cheddar cheese, and bacon (if using) to the bowl with the dressing. Toss gently to combine.
- 4. Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
- 5. Before serving, garnish with fresh dill, if desired. Give it another toss and serve chilled.
