- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 large russet potato, diced
- 2 carrots, sliced
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Optional: 1/2 cup frozen peas or corn per packet
- Heavy duty aluminum foil
Instructions
- Preheat grill to medium or oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Divide ground beef into four portions.
- Combine potatoes, carrots, and onion with olive oil and seasonings.
- Place beef on foil, top with vegetable mixture.
- Seal foil packets tightly.
- Grill for 20-25 minutes or bake for 30-35 minutes, until beef is cooked and vegetables are tender. Let rest before opening.
