Ingredients

  • 2 pounds ground turkey
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs (panko or regular)
  • 1/2 cup milk (any kind)
  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped
  • 1 bell pepper (any color), finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 large egg, lightly beaten
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 cup ketchup (for glaze)
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar (for glaze)
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar (for glaze)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×5 inch loaf pan.
  2. In a large bowl, combine milk, egg, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, and Dijon mustard.
  3. Add breadcrumbs, onion, bell pepper, garlic, thyme, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  4. Gently add ground turkey, mix until just combined.
  5. Transfer mixture to loaf pan, shape into loaf.
  6. In a small bowl, whisk together ketchup, brown sugar, and apple cider vinegar for glaze.
  7. Spread glaze over meatloaf.
  8. Bake for 60-70 minutes, or until internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  9. Let rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
