- 2 pounds ground turkey
- 1 cup breadcrumbs (panko or regular)
- 1/2 cup milk (any kind)
- 1 medium onion, finely chopped
- 1 bell pepper (any color), finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 large egg, lightly beaten
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 cup ketchup (for glaze)
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar (for glaze)
- 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar (for glaze)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×5 inch loaf pan.
- In a large bowl, combine milk, egg, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, and Dijon mustard.
- Add breadcrumbs, onion, bell pepper, garlic, thyme, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
- Gently add ground turkey, mix until just combined.
- Transfer mixture to loaf pan, shape into loaf.
- In a small bowl, whisk together ketchup, brown sugar, and apple cider vinegar for glaze.
- Spread glaze over meatloaf.
- Bake for 60-70 minutes, or until internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Let rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
