Instructions

- 2. Chill Dough: Form a disk, wrap, and chill for 30 minutes.
- 3. Make Filling: Combine strawberries, sugar, lemon juice, and vanilla.
- 4. Roll Dough: Roll out chilled dough to 1/8 inch thickness.
- 5. Cut Hearts: Cut out heart shapes with a cookie cutter.
- 6. Assemble: Place half on baking sheet, spoon filling, top with second heart. Seal edges.
- 7. Egg Wash: Brush with egg wash (egg + milk).
- 8. Bake: Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 15 20 minutes until golden.
