Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- In a large bowl, combine peaches, sugar, flour, cinnamon, nutmeg, and lemon juice. Toss gently.
- Pour peach mixture into the baking dish. Dot with butter pieces.
- In another bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- Add milk and melted butter; stir until just combined. Don’t overmix.
- Drop spoonfuls of topping over peach mixture, leaving some peaches visible.
