Description

Prosecco infused grapes coated in sugar. A sparkling and refreshing treat!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 pounds green seedless grapes, washed and completely dried
  • 1 (750 ml) bottle Prosecco
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar, for coating
  • 1 tablespoon lemon zest, for coating (optional)

Instructions

  1. 1. Soak the Grapes: In a large bowl, place washed and dried grapes. Pour Prosecco over grapes, ensuring they are fully submerged. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or preferably overnight.
  2. 2. Prepare the Coating: In a shallow dish, combine granulated sugar and lemon zest (if using). Mix well.
  3. 3. Drain and Dry: After soaking, carefully drain Prosecco grapes. Gently pat them dry with paper towels.
  4. 4. Coat the Grapes: Working in small batches, roll dampened grapes in the sugar mixture, ensuring they are evenly coated. Place coated grapes on a parchment lined baking sheet in a single layer.
  5. 5. Chill and Serve: Place the baking sheet of coated grapes back in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to allow the sugar coating to set.
  6. 6. Enjoy! Serve as a refreshing snack, appetizer, or dessert.
